Borderlands Therapy Collaborative, PLLC is headquartered on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coahuiltecan, Tonkawa and Nʉmʉnʉʉ (Comanche) Peoples. Our members live and work in many areas throughout Turtle Island, all of which are traditional lands whose sovereignty was never ceded. We recognize, support, and advocate for the sovereignty of Indigenous individuals and communities who live here now, and for those who were forcibly removed from their Homelands.

We pay respect to Elders past, present, and the seven generations yet to come as we attempt to work toward decolonization and healing for Mother Earth and her inhabitants. We acknowledge the land because Indigenous people are often referred to in the past tense and it is easier to deny Indigenous people their rights if we historicize their struggles and continue to pretend they don’t exist.
