Dr. Traice Webb-Bradley (she/her) is a licensed psychologist with 20 years of client-centered, liberation-focused, and trauma-informed experience. She has provided care in community mental health centers, college counseling offices, addiction treatment centers, and private practices. She offers therapy, supervision, consulting, and workshops focused on supporting freedom and healing. Her work centers the experiences, strengths, and wisdom of individuals and communities disproportionately impacted by systemic oppression.
Dr. Traice specializes in helping adults from marginalized groups, including Black (specifically people who identify as Black across the African Diaspora), Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQIA+ communities, and survivors of state or community violence.
Dr. Traice helps her clients understand how societal issues and personal experiences affect their mental health. She focuses on helping people reclaim agency and feel emotionally balanced, especially within the larger social and political contexts that influence well-being.
Her professional approach emphasizes:
Empowerment and collective liberation
Client autonomy and collaboration
Valuing and integrating cultural traditions and ancestral wisdom when it feels helpful
Building strong community connections
Healing justice frameworks
Culturally respectful and affirming care
Building strong, trusting relationships in therapy
Her areas of focus include:
Trauma related to race and family history
Managing long-term stress and burnout, and building resilience
Exploring and understanding identities related to race, gender, and sexuality
Dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma
Stress from activism, systemic discrimination (including workplace stress)
Dr. Traice believes in the power of levity and humor to build relationships and add clearer perspectives during a therapy session. Therapy does not purely have to focus on pain because the healing process requires us to name and acknowledge gains even when they are small.
