We understand that professional mental health services are an investment and do everything we can to make therapy accessible, acknowledging the expertise, training and specialized knowledge of our providers.
Fees vary by practitioner and are listed on their individual bios. All clinicians offer a sliding scale in hopes of facilitating the redistribution of wealth, or allowing a mechanism where those who can afford to pay full fee help fund the therapy of those who cannot.
-
Fees are due at the time of service.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) as well as Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA) and Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) cards. You can also pay via Zelle at 703.493.1550
Credit cards are stored by the processor according to PCI Data Security Standards. Borderlands Therapy Collaborative PLLC does not store or have access to your credit card number(s).

We do not directly bill insurance companies in an effort to protect your privacy and offer the greatest flexibility regarding your care.
For clients with Out of Network mental health insurance benefits, we partner with Thrizer to help you maximize your benefits. Click here for more information.

We believe in giving back.
A portion of our clinical practice operates for extremely low fees to try and make therapy more accessible. These slots are advertised when they become available.
In addition, we regularly donate our time and expertise to various organizations. Every year we support @PsychGradWishList. We also donate a percentage of all proceeds to charities like Concern Worldwide, Lambda Legal, and RAINN.
Scholarships
We support various scholarship programs (even if you end up working with a provider outside of borderlands) and are always open to partnering with others not listed below:

Hibiscus Rose Therapy Access Project (Black queer and/or trans residents of NJ and PA)
